Faytha Dark is mentioned in her father's will, which was noted in the "History of Upson Co.", pg. 253 under, "Wills, dated from 1825-1865", stated as follows: Daniel Parker, Sr.; wife, Lucy Parker, and children: Mary Hudman, Nancy Meadows, Faytha Dark, Stephen P. Parker, Daniel Parker, Jr., Phileman Parker, Sherwood Parker, Lucy Parker, Thomas Parker and Susannah meadows. Witnesses: Charles P. Hansford, Jonathan Colquitt, Allen Ware.
