Hello Elizabeth,
I am sorry but I don't use chat. (Too many problems for me)
I would appreciate any information you care to share.
I am posting four names of other PH members who know more about Stephen White Parker direct line. They are Lincoln Lewis McMillen, Richard Creechley, Peter Beadle and Martha Lackey.
I will also be looking for more information to see what else I might find.
Wayne
Elizabeth,
Stephen White and Elizabeth Jane Ridley Parker are confirmed members of FG#7 Parker family.

Hello Elizabeth,
Could the Stephen W. Parker you think that maybe the father of Elvington H. Parker be Stephen White Parker born abt. 1787 and his wife Elizabeth Jane Ridley born abt. 1789 ?

Hello Cousin Elizabeth,
Welcome to Parker y-DNA FG#7. I received an e-mail this morning saying we have a new DNA match and this I saw the information that was posted with the match was the same information that you had posted here on PH.
I will go ahead and start adding your info to my file.

Hello, James David - Thank you for the kind words. Patricia Ross Parker
Thank you Patricia! That is a wonderful post, that I have difficulty explaining to new members or just friends in general. You nailed it maam.
most sincere,
James
Hello again, Elizabeth Parker -
The data with names, dates, and places you blogged here to PH are just the sort and format that will be found useful by all. I have long relied upon family tree types of data here at PH.
As for sending lines of numbers here on PH as marker values, row after row, members do it now and then. It is, however, not a practical way to share your test results. Instead, go through Dr. Dennis West and join the Parker YDNA Project where your data will be displayed in a useful, comparable context. I rely on the Parker Project for many types of genetic data, analysis, and good manners, and it all comes through Dennis West.
As a new Parker Heritage member, you may be puzzled about the interaction of the website and the Parker Project. Look at it this way: The Parker Project members are only those who have YDNA test results (like your cousin or like my husband.) They are assisted by contacts (like you or like me.) The members are matched into one of today's 40+ Project Family Groups. Project membership is free, but the lab services that produce the genetic test results are not. A DNA test must be purchased from the highly recommended Family Tree DNA or from other commercial companies on the market.
Parker Heritage is a website with free membership that is owned and managed today by Mike Parker. He has done genetic testing and is a lab match in Parker Project Family Group #7. Mike supports the website to help other Parkers expand their family history research and because, like Dennis West, he is a good guy.
To join the free Parker Heritage website, you need some interest in Parkers or in broad genealogy. You can answer the simply profile questions, and like to exchange online. Some Parker Heritage members are also Project members and have a Family Group match from male YDNA. Some PH members would like to have a lab-matched Project Family Group, but, for one reason or another, may not get one. Many just join assorted Parker Heritage interest groups and make new friends.
Enjoy your research. Patricia Ross Parker
Hello, Elizabeth A. Parker - Thank you for the friend invitation. About your cousin's test results, I note that you have contacted Dennis West also this evening, and I assume you are seeking his help with the Project. You and he can work out what can be done with your test results, and he will guide you from there. You are in very good hands, and I shall look forward to learning about a possible match.
I looked up some of your ancestors this evening. If you have Ancestry.com, you probably found Stephen Parker and Elizabeth Ridley's marriage record. Did you also find them in 1850 Alabama? I did not find Elvington close by, but it appears perhaps younger brothers Edward and Sherrod? were?
Congratulations on your perserverance and getting test results. Your fun is just beginning.

Sarah Jane "Sallie" Parker married John "Jack" Thomas Parker Sr of Northampton County, NC on 28 December 1871. Sarah Jane Parker was born in 1848.
Sallie's mother was Martha Parker, Her father was Nat Parker. Sarah and John were married in Hertford County by Justice of the Peace, William S. Tayloe.
In further developments, I learned yesterday that one Charity Parker, also married a Benjamin Brett, relative of John Brett of Isle of Wight County, Virginia. This John Brett was Junior was born in 1699, and son of John Brett Sr. This John Brett went on to marry Susannah Bressie, also of Isle of Wight, Virginia. John Junior, eventually died in 1738 in Bertie County, North Carolina. No will has ever been found, but we are certain, by the deeds John had and gave to his children in Southampton County, Virginia and Hertford County, North Carolina.
Charity Parker is kin to a William Parker, born in England, in the year 1604. This information was provided to me via Wayne Parker, yesterday.
Would love to connect with any other Parker relatives, that are known to have had connections with my Brett - Britt -- Baggett -- Cowan -- Hoggard familes in and around Southampton County, Isle of Wight County, Virginia, and Northampton and Hertford County, North Carolina.
Thanks
