I am a Genetic Genealogical and my goal is to find and publish as much information about the Parker Family of Nansemond Co., VA (FG#7) that I can and at the same time I will add as much information on the other Parker y-DNA groups to my file as I can. I have developed a simple file structure that help me research the different Parker families lines of FG#7. I now have the information in one file that I can add new DNA members to and at the same time I can easily add the members back to common ancestor William Parker (born abt. 1604) as we find the paper trail. Thanks to all the researcher who have shared their research with me. I believe I am part of Parker FG #7. My mother's maiden name is Parker. Unfortunately I do not know any of my Parker relatives. I do know of a 1C whose last name is Parker. Unfortunately I have not been able to contact him.

Are you familiar with the Abraham P. (1664)that is shown as part of his line? I haven't hunted for sources for him before without finding anything?

Wayne, My first cousin, Dennis Eugene Parker,Jr, had earlier done 23 and me, had matched the family #7. Our fathers are brothers. Today he sent be a message that my daughter is his closest match on 23 and me, first cousin once remved which is exactly correct. I have his user name and password and will get my daughter's, so that is another data base to look in. He is going to do Ancestry DNA. I may up my yDNA to y1111 but to you think that is worth the investment. Mike
