I am a direct descendent of Adam Parker, born 1282 in England. He was my 20th great grandfather. I have an extensive family tree on the Parker's & would be happy to share it, along with receiving information I don't have. Have numerous pictures also. I was thrilled to find your site!!

What is your research interest in the Parker family?
Found you on Google looking for John Parker's parents.

Hey Val! Can never have too many friends, huh ;) And any information I find anywhere is always helpful, even if it ends up being a dead end. Somewhere it'll all click and fall into place, I hope! Right now, I'm in the process of hunting down any viable obituaries and death certificates first. I don't recall any of the names you listed coming up in the searches, but they very well may. I've just started my trek down the rabbit hole lol
Hello, Val Fisher -
With regrets, I must decline your offer to Friend me on your page. To keep my sanity, I have recently trimmed my contact list on this site and others to only those family historians who have completed yDNA testing through Family Tree DNA and are functioning members of the Parker Surname YDNA Project.
I find that I can be more helpful to those people with whom I share a common genealogical shorthand of P-numbers, haplos, Family Groups, and marker values.
I suspect that there is a Fisher Surname y-DNA Project, and I would encourage you to look into it.

Hi Val, I am one of two moderators on this site. You have much to share with us. Please research your DNA. Tell us your research techniques. My Parkers now end with Daniel Parker, b1812=1822 in South Carolina. He was a shoemaker and was alive in the 1870 census but lost afterwards. I hope to find more of my Parker line before I have great-children(no grandkids yet), Mike
