Sept. 29, 1828 d. Apr. 23, 1905 in Shiloh Comm., Rusk Co., Texas. James Franklin is the son of Emanuel Parker b. Bet. 1781-1782 in North Carolina d. Nov. 9, 1851 in Greene Co., Georgia and Mary Ann (Polly) Astin b. 1792 in Virginia d. 1873 in Rusk Co., Texas
