  • Thanks, Jane. I'll see if I can find out anything on him. There might a possibility he could be in Parker group 1.
  • I am researching John W. Parker born 1837 in Union County, North Carolina. He is my husband's great grandfather. Any assistance from other members would be appreciated. He married Mary Jane Osborne in 1861.
  • Hi Winnette,
No, this Lemuel Parker was married to Elizabeth Carpenter. She was from Anson Co., NC. That was where Lemuel's father, David, died in 1814. Now, I would like it, if you could have your family tree where I could see it plainly. Your Parkers are in the same family group as mine, showing that we had a common ancestor back in time. I have been trying to locate the immigrant/s to the US. Did you look over the book, "Following the Land", by Raymond Parker Fouts? I have not proven by my own study, back to William Parker b. 1604, as the original immigrant. If you have a chance, maybe we could work on it together. I am trying to finish my Parker book, going back to Amos Parker, great grandfather of Lemuel Parker. I am always interested in the Parkers, especially when they are in the same Parker family group. Thanks for your interest. Kathy Jo
  • Kathy Jo,

Was this the Lemuel Parker who married Mary Martha Law?
Who was a son of James?

    Thanks, Winnette
