My name is Tracy Michelle Herring and I am the great great granddaughter of Nancy Caroline Parker born 3/7/1871 Hancock Co, TN past in Oklahoma 8/31/1950 and rest in Hewitt Cemetery/Wilson, OK. She was married to John Tarrence Herring and they lived in TX then Southern Oklahoma. I am trying to build my family tree but come to a dead end with my great great grandfather John Tarrence Herring. He lies next to Nancy in Hewitt Cemetery and the headstone has his birth as 10/18/1860 and death 10/14/1947. Ancestry.com 1910 Census places him & Nancy in TX and says he was born in TX. This is all the information I can find. If anyone out there can help me with his parents or a siblings I would greatly appreciate the help!
