Those in TN really confuse me.....more DNA samples and stronger paper trails will fix much on the confusion. If it so that Nathaniel Parker (of Sumter County) shares no DNA with Elder John Parker, many of those family trees online are going to be rewritten. With this said, I have not researched any of them. I am just looking for my Aaron Parker born 1770 who came to Mississippi before 1814 who happen to belong to Family #5. There was an Aaron Parker on Turnbull Creek.
I found this while trying to figure out the relationship of those in Dickson County TN, I don't know if it right or wrong.
Daniel Parker was born on April 6, 1781, in Culpeper County, Virginia. He was the oldest son of John Parker, a former Continental soldier, and Sarah (White) Parker. The family moved to Elbert County, Georgia around 1785. Daniel professed conversion before the Nail's Creek Baptist Church in Franklin County, Georgia, and was baptized on January 19, 1802. He married Patsy Dickerson on March 11, 1802. In 1803, John & Sarah, Daniel & Patsy, and other Parker family members moved to Dickson County, Tennessee. Before the Parkers moved to Tennessee, the Nail's Creek church had licensed Daniel to the ministry. In August 1803, Daniel and Patsy settled on Turnbull Creek. The Turnbull Baptist Church was organized by fourteen members (mostly the Parker family) in the home of John Parker in April 1806. The Turnbull Church ordained Daniel Parker as a minister of the gospel on May 28, 1806. Daniel and Patsy moved to Crawford County, Illinois in December 1817, shortly before Illinois entered the Union.
My Aaron Parker is family #5, he is found in Mississippi by 1814, he came by way of TN and GA as children were born there. He was born ~1770 and married Tabitha Raborn (1772-1856). Aaron Parker had a brother in law named Burrell/Burwell Raborn/Rayburn. I believe this family was in Franklin County GA in 1802, but can't ID them anywhere else until the arrived in MS. Family legend refers to him as a TN long hunter.

Who is this Aaron Parker? He was in Dickson County TN! Now if I could just place Burwell Raborn or Aaron wife Tabitha there, I could say he could be mine!!!!!
