Larry Louis Perkins, thats me. There was a Pliny Parker born in Scio, Allegany, NY about 1840. There was a Pliny Parker in Lysander Onondaga NY in the 1880 census. Suppposedly Frank Parker's father was born in NY. Lucinda was married at leat 5 times and you never knew what she would use as the last name for her kids for a census. All I know is that Frank looked like he had Indian blood.
The Johnny Pea-a-ti-sy Parker who married Kate Monatoboy died in 1922, Wynoka, Woods County, OK. He is the only John/Johnie Parker related to Quanah.
Quanah Parker could only leave the Comanche Reservation accompanied by a Indian Agent; he had to have permission to travel. His travels were usually to Washington DC to negotiate with the Indian Land Commission. He would usually stop by Carlisle Indian School in Pennsylvania and have son Harold (Pah-Ko who died 1906) or or Laura (Neda) accompany him to Washington to help interpret.
