Connie, It has been a long time since I've been on the board here. Last year you were the one that opened up my whole Parker line when you identified my great grandmother Dollie Parker, I am so appreciative! I was wondering if you use the name Connie Paddock on Family Tree DNA, I've been tested there as well. I was going to see if you are on my list of matches on family finder if you did that test there. I was thinking of doing the test on Ancestry too, did you like that one? Hope all is well with you!
Hi Connie-The Parkers are such a well documented family. That is so nice for a change! I wanted to let you know, I think we are related. So far, I've found that Jonathan Pleasant Parker is my 3rdggfather and that his brother Samuel is my 4th ggfather. Isn't that nifty?
Connie-Everything is falling into place. I couldn't have figured this out without you. Jonathon Parker is my great, great grandfather. Now is my favorite part. Going backwards in time, finding out all the history. I am so excited to find this site and to learn all I can about the Parkers. I can't thank you enough.
Hi Connie! Do you know about Dolly?
I've received a response to the Parker DNA project. Why are there different tests with different companies for different reasons doing Parker research?
sent request to be tested/approved but no email yet.
We haven't been part of a census or dna matching that I know of. Who does that? And would my 3 sons and 2 grandsons be even more "perfect"? Uncle Wayne had five girls. My Uncle Bradley has a son Quanah. My brother Robert Lynn has a boy. Brother Rob was a wrestler as Parker Perfect in the local "league" but don't think it meant the same. Hope I haven't bothered you too much, we thank you for all the info!
James and Christine Comstock
David Dwight and Marilyn Henderson
thank you and thank you! I'm a Parker to James and back LOL
correction -my grandfather was John William Austin Parker and great was John Alexander Logan Parker but there seems to be one generation missing between him and John Alexander son of George David.
