Searching for parents/family members of Lucy L. Parker Hooker

My grandmother was Lucy L. Parker Hooker, born in Ladonia, Texas on 1 Feb 1883.  She married Sebastian Hooker in 1900 in Louisiana.  Their son, Parker John Hooker was my father. 

 

I have hit a deadend and would appreciate any information you could provide.

    Goodness. I wasn't expecting a reply for weeks. Thank you. I will continue as well and greatly appreciate your assistance. Unfortunately, records weren't kept and loved ones have passed away.

      There are two documents that you may have to send for. Lucy's death certificate from the Caddo Parish Courthouse which should contain her parent's names.

      2nd, she should have had a Social Security number - her original SS application has her parents names and where she was born. Since she outlived Sebastian by about 32 years, I assume she remarried and you will need her 2nd husband's surname.

    I took a shot at trying to figure it out. Lucy L Hooker in Caddo Parish LA in 1900, Also in Caddo Parish were John G Parker born 1859 to 1862 in TX and died circa 1930 Fannin TX with wife Ella Maude UNKNOWN born TX. Also a George John Parker born 1865 LA had children born in TX; wife Dillie born 1867 LA, I could not find either family in a family tree but if I discover anything, I will get back to you.
