I have been diligently searching for my family most of my life.  I would love more information if anyone happens to have any or knows anything regarding my Parker family.

I have traced our family back to my 5th great grandfather John S. Parker but have been unable to find any information on his mother or father or anything previous to him.

So far what I have found is as follows:

John S. Parker - 1805 -1858 born in Washington, Tennessee 

Married Mary Peerman 

Children of John Parker and Mary Peerman:

John Parker born in Jefferson County, Tennessee 1831

Henry S Parker born in Jefferson County, Tennessee 1832

Mary Ann Parker born in Jefferson County, Tennessee 1833

James Parker born in Jefferson County, Tennessee 1834

Clinton Nimrod Parker born In Jefferson County, Tennessee 1837

Elizabeth Parker born in Jefferson County, Tennessee 1840

Margaret Parker born In Jefferson County, Tennessee 1843

 

**John S. Parker then married Elenory Glover in Warren, Indiana May 11th, 1843

Orin Parker born in Indianapolis, Indiana 1845

Louisa F Parker born in Indianapolis, Indiana 1848

Leander 'Lee' McClurg Parker born in Indianapolis, Indiana 1849

Sarah Parker born in Indianapolis, Indiana 1849

Lillian Parker born in Indianapolis l, Indiana 1849. --(curious if Lillian & Sarah Parker were twins)

I have more going forward and my current close ancestors are resident of Logan, Benton, and rend Lake, Illinois which is where my father Robert Leroy Parker was raised and moved to Arizona for a short period and then California. My first grandfather is Jesse Matthew Parker who was born In Ravenden, Arkansas. Jesse Matthew married Janet Schelsky in Benton, Illinois

1850 Posey County, Tennessee Federal Census has John S Parker with wife Mary and the children with Mary Peerman. No other children listed on the 1850 Census. Also listed on the Census was a Sally Peerman age 69, Mary Parker was listed as age 48, and John S Parker age 45. Mary born Maryland and Sally born Pennsylvania. John S Parker born Tennessee.
