Missouri Parkers (with a TX flair)

I am in need of some help here. I am at my wits end and dont know where to turn. I have hit a HUGE brick wall in trying to research my family tree and unfortunately I can go no futher than my maternal grandfather LaVern Parker b 1925. He is one of many including his sister Mable. I know through family stories that their family at the time that my grandpa was born was migrant farmers and travelled through MO, KS and IL. Some of the family still live in southern Illinois, but the family always said that their relatives came from Texas. I have some other names from my mother but she doesn't remember who came when, so it's one big cluster. ;)Any help will be greatly appreciated in unravelling my tree.Beth

I am a decendant of Mary T. Parker and John P. Brown. Not sure I am of Much help but I hav heard she was born in Dublin Texas and her and her husband John P. Brown Moved with some of their small children to Cabool Missouri. Maybe also around Topaz Missouri. . Mary Died in Sept. 24th 1919 Cabool Missouri. Family story is that when they moved there the younger child was frightened because the Commanchee Indian party were following them and she (Mary Parker Brown) told the daughter not to be afraid because the man on the horse was her mothers brother. Would love help myself on the Missouri Parkers. Malee Thomas
