      • Wayne, from this information you sent, have to believe this Mills Parker married Siddy or Liddy Jenkins, and that he was around the Gates, Nansemond, and Northampton Counites. Gates County, North Carolina, Nansemond County, Virginia and Northampton County North Carolina. Also, there are 2 Mills Parker listed in 1790 Census with different information, 2 Mills Parker in same area. and same age. Also believe the Mills Parker listed in the Gates County, North Carolina Tax List from 1785-1790 tax list is either the son or brother of Ann Parker who is also listed in the Gates County, North Carolina Tax List. 1785 Gates County, North Carolina Tax List:
        Ann Parker 12, 1, 6. Mills Parker 12, 1, 6. 1786 Gates County, North Carolina Tax List: Ann Parker 15, 1,6. Mills Parker 15, 1,6.
1787 Gates County, North Carolina, Tax List: Ann Parker 9, 1,6. Mills Parker 9, 1,6. 1788 Gates County, North Carolina List:
        Ann Parker 9, 1, 6. Mills Parker 9, 1,6. 1789 Gates County, North Carolina Tax List: Ann Parker. 9, 1,6. Mills Parker 9, 1,6.
1790 Gates County, North Carolina Tax List: Ann Parker. 6. Mills Parker. 6.

This information from J J Stratton, Family Search. War of 1812 Record, Dempsey Parker born in Northampton County, North Carolina. Dempsey Parker youngest son Daniel Webster Parker applied for Eastern Cherokee benefits in 1907. Daniel Webster Parker stated that his father fathers name was Mills Parker. There are many descendants of Dempsey Parker and Fanny/Francis Hargis who have done extensive research. Many family trees list Dempsey's brother as James Parker born 1785 Virginia, died 1862 Henry County, Tennessee. I have heard that there is a direct descendant of James who has done DNA testing that indicates that Dempsey and James are closely related. Is this how it goes. Ann-Mills-Dempsey-Daniel Webster Parker, or is Ann and Mills another Parker line.
  • Ann Parker, Mills Parker, Miles Parker, 1785-1790, Gates County, North Carolina Tax List. Family Search list 2 children for Mills Parker. Some have Dempsey son of Mills from Northampton County, North Carolina, others have Miles from Gates County, North Carolina as the father.
  • Hello again, Jevette-There has to be some way to track Mills/Miles in the Family 7 group. How can we organize the 7 family to communicate better. I have invited some of them here but with little success. If we are all willing to cooperate together, the common goal can be reached. Mike
