I have been working with Michael R. Parker, OD , my nephew James D. Parker and several other researcher  using the results of Fimily Finder DNA test (I have order my own FF test). I see that several members of FG#7 have been tedted by FF DNA but we can't see your results. It would be very helpful if you would set your acct. information so that we can exchange info. We now have a real good change to knock down a bunch of brick walls.

I need you to set you profile so we can see your results.

When you log in to your Account from the drop down  menu select  privacy and sharing and check opt in to matching

We have so so many good researcher and after reading Steven Charles Kartz post from yesterday, I am asking and issuing a challenge to all the FG#7 researchers  "Lets get the job done"

Note: if you have been tested by Ancestry DNA you can tranfer the results to FamilyTreeDNA.

Thanks your DNA Cousin.

  • Hi Wayne, my DNA testing was done on 23andme which I then loaded to Myheritage where my children, nieces and nephews had theirs done. I have many Parker matches there and in Gedmatch. My kit #M694349. I've looked for my 2 great grandmother, Elizabeth Parker for many years and believe I found her and my 2 great grandfather, Irvin Graham, in 1850 Census of Scott Co MS. I think I'm group 7, because of DNA matches to some of the decendants of Isaac Parker and Mary Noland. Isaac and Mary and younger children is on the same census living near Irvin and Elizabeth Graham. Seaborn and Delila and small children live next to Isaac. Seaborn was born in Louisiana, but I haven't found the parish. Comparing the places where Seaborn and Elizabeth were born it appears to me that she was born in La and not Ga as the transcriber indicated. I joined the Early Parkers of Mississippi group on Facebook to try to confirm my information. My father always wanted me to trace his ancestors, but with working full-time and raising a family I had no time. The internet has made it easier for me. I have my father's family information from Elizabeth Parker and Irvin Graham descendants down to me and numerous of their children's families. I hope to find proof of my Parker ancestors and their origin. I'm grateful to Kelly Parks for sharing this information.
  • Hello Wayne, I wonder if you have found any information on Abraham and who might be his father. I am beginning to think that it is not Amos.
On my Ancestry DNA account, Thurlines, I am the only one that has Amos and no other people match. Also, others have Nancy Parker as my 3d Great Grandmother who would have been Amos' wife. I am going to see what else I can find out about Nancy and who else she was married to as Abraham has 1/2 siblings. Any ideas? Liza Parker
    • It seems that my sister has 43 matches on Ancestry for Amos! I am trying to find out why mine does not have any. So, I am back to thinking amos is the link from James and son Abraham. Any information on Amos would be helpful. Thank you.
    • Hello Elizabeth,
I have reached a point in my 29 years research, that I knew would come one day and lately I have being doing less and less research. If I find out anything I will of course pass it on.

      • I started researching in 1983 when my paternal grandmother, Dessie Arnell Dennis Parker, asked me to find the relatives of my deceased grandfather, Rev. Bennie Harrison Parker. His father deserted his wife and three year old Bennie. Bennie’s mother died when he was five. As you know my spare time is still limited while I practice full-time. The best discovery I have made was finding Parker Heritage in the paper/ e mail era and through it researchers who became friends, especially Wayne N. Parker and Patricia “Patti” Parker! These friends are like family now and I think of them daily as I still research my fortified brick wall for that next male back in my personal Parker line of Parker yDNA Family #7! Wayne, have you been able to find a way to move your complete Family 7 data to Parker Heritage yet? Thank for your dedication to Parker Heritage.
        • Mike,
Yes am much as I love researching, I enjoy meeting and exchanged information with other researcher and over the years I have indeed been blessed as many of them have became friends/family and I HAVE and ALWAYS will remember exchanging e-mails first with Patricia "Patti" Parker and you. If I were to start a list of the many, many genealogy researchers that I have come in contact with, It would a long, long list.
I will be 75 on March 7, 202O and my wife Zula and I will celebrate our 50 years of marriage this Nov. 20, 2020.
We both have some health problems.
I am still working on a way to move my research to PH, although I have no desire right now to do the deep research that I did in the past, the research that I have done is freely giving to any researcher.
I am still committed to my work here on PH and the Parker DNA Project.

          Wayne

    • Jimmy,
Welcome to the DNA testing for genealogy research. I believe you will find the answers to a lot of you questions by reading the information both on my posting here on Parker Heritage and the by studying and studying my great research on my linking all the members of FG#7 back to our common ancestor William Parker born about 1604 which is located on the Rootsweb link that I put in my earlier post to you. Please feel free to ask me any and all questions after you study my big file.
This is a direct link to Moses Parker file.
