  • After looking at the birth of Major Richard Parker of about 1728, I don't believe that his father is William Parker, who is the son of William Parker who died before 1749 and if not then we must look at the other male Parker listed on the 1704 list for a lead. Well, well that what research is all above. Trial and error and always looking.

        • Wayne, please connect Francis and Simon Parker to the Halifax Co NC Parkers that went down to Franklin County, Georgia. Halifax County NC, Edgecombe County, NC, Franklin County, Georgia, Greene County, Georgia all related somehow. Great record in Halifax County, NC, and Franklin County, Georgia where William or James Parker dies leaving his estate and his sister Charity Parker Jones sends her son to Tignal Jones down to Franklin County, Georgia about the estate. Many, many names and there are also many counties and states mentioned. There is also a general North Carolina Record about these Parkers and the river they lived on. I super imposed the river and area and came up with Halifax County, NC to get even more names. Please check these records, 3 records, General North Carolina State Record, Halifax County, Franklin County Records. Edgecombe County, North Carolina and Nansemond County all connected with Parker YDNA group 7. And please how do I access your Parker Records. Thank you very much for all your great research.
          • Hello Steven,

I was hospitalized back in mid February with congestive heart failure and other major heath problems and it has been a long uphill fight since then but I am getting better. One of my problems is I am having to type with my left hand and since I am right handed and that arm is very weak. I have lost ¾ of my heart muscle so I get tired real quick now.

I THANK YOU for the complement about my research, I have enjoyed every second of ever hour of the many long hours over the pass 29 years, I still plan on doing some research but only time will tell.

I will post more later on.
I have been trying to update and make some major corrections to my file on the Parker FG#7, right now there is no online file, I can send files to your e-mail.

Very skittish about emails and diseases. Thank you very much and please get better and help all of us out.

As for the Covid virus, I have never heard of any type of human virus that can be transmitted over or through wire ,telephone, radio, TV or by computers based on my life long experience. As a retired Electronic Tech. and Computer Tech, a long time electric and electronic Historian, Hobbyist.

                  • Wayne, thank you for responding so quickly. My mom died in 2010, took care of her, and my dad died July 2019, took care of him. Last year my health was very bad, much better this year. Still thinking about the emails. Going pretty smoothly so far, a few glitches, but not bad. Worry that somehow I will get another bad computer virus. Worry that I will mess it up some way. You gave me some very good reasoning though. Thank you. Gates County, North Carolina had so many Parkers that the 1820 Gates County, North Carolina Census separated each group of Parkers. Also there is a marriage record differentiating this Parker, says he is of Nansemond County. Tax records also, list some of the Parkers as of Virginia. Some other tax Records list the father of. Abram Parker of Nansemond County married Penelope Goodman, 23 January 1804 Gates County, North Carolina. Abram Parker married Mary Winborn, 16 June 1798 Gates County, North Carolina. Abram Parker married Sarah Parker, 1805 Gates County, North Carolina.
