  • Hi Shannon'

My GGrandfather was Little Berry Parker born 1826 in Mississippi Territory, son of Littleberry Parker born 1798 in North Carolina. They are listed as Lewis in the 1860 Alabama census.
He married Sarah Ann Beach or (Beech) in Washington Cty Al in 1849. I have a page from their family bible which lists their children. Their daughter Elizabeth (my ggrandmother) married Thomas Bryant.

Who do you descend from? I would enjoy exchanging information with you.

    Thanks Brenda
    • My ggrandfather was Littleberry (went by Berry) Parker, born in Washington Co., AL in 1868, son of Martin Parker and Clara Anderson. Martin was the son of Little Berry (Lewis) Parker, Sr. (don't think he ever used "Sr." but it helps me differentiate). Martin was born in Mississippi in 1835.
I would love to exchange information also.

      • My goodness, I just noticed a glaring error in my comments above: my ggrandfather, Littleberry Parker was born in Jones County, MS in 1867, not Washington Co., AL in 1868. Many of the Parkers had moved back to MS by the mid-1860s. Littleberry (Lewis B.) Sr. was homesteading 80 acres in Jones County by 1868. Martin's wife was buried in 1869 on this homestead, now the location of the Mack Brown Cemetery. Martin, his second wife and others are also buried there.
