John Parker b-1783 d-1811

I think I am getting closer to information on the above John Parker. He died in 1811 and his wife and child were moved back to Georgia by Elder John Parker. In 1819 a John Parker and Nancy Folsom were married in Hancock, Georgia. Through a Family tree by the Sniders, or Schniders, they found where John Parker and Nancy Folsom moved to Mississippi. I keep trying to find the father, or parents of Elijah Parker and this is getting closer. I don't have anything definate but what I do have sure does excite me.Is there anyone out there that can add anything to what I have? ? ?John Parker

In reply to: Benjamine Folsom 1766 Ga
      Barbara VAillancourt 6/12/05

      Barb,
I’m sorry not to have seen your query about Benjamin Folsom sooner. I am descended from the John Folsom (m. Tabitha) who is said to have been a son of that Benjamin. John’s daughter Susannah married Richard Rivers, probablyin Wilkes or Muscogee County, Georgia, about 1825 (I can find no record). My own line is well established from that point on. Richard and Susannah moved to north Mississippi by 1840. There are numerous descendants.
I’d be interested in corresponding with you by email about our Folsom ancestors. The information I have is, however, all taken from what others have sent me, and much needs to be checked out.
      Walter
