John P. Parker and Ann Britton ancestors

John Periwinkel Parker (born 25-Feb-1808) married Ann Britton (born 6-Sep-1805).  They had 11 children, the first born in Pennsylvania, the remaining ten in Monmouth Co., NJ.  Does anyone have any positively sourced information regarding their ancestors?  I have seen various trees on the Internet that list John's parents as John B. Parker and Liddy Burdge, but the sources are either other trees, unsourced, or familysearch.org records used are sources, which are often unreliable.   Thanks and best regards to all - Jeff

  • Hi Jeff— I just came across your post from 6+ years ago. If you haven't found the source for John B. Parker & Liddy Burdge as the parents of John P. Parker, they're named on John P.'s New Jersey death certificate. John P. was my 5G grandfather. Thanks for posting the scans of the pages from your great-aunt's family records. They match well with what I've put together from my family—I'm descended through John P.'s son Jacob H., then Jacob's son William E., then William's daughter Flora Crooks Parker. Who was your great aunt? I'd love to compare notes on this family if you happen to get this—feel free to drop me a line at j11.kevin@gmail.com. Cheers, Kevin
