  • I am a descendent of James and Rose. I also am unable to confirm John as father. I see some have added him. I have sern James Parker as sailor in Pennsylvania but age does not match up. Any help on Baltimore birth records would be a great help.

    • My Parker relation is Elder John Parker (1758-1836) through his son Isaac (1793-1883), his daughter Lucy Ann Parker (1830-1775) to her daughter - my great grandmother (1848-1933) .
  • I am always interested in Parker that came to MS. Did you do Y-dna for yours? Which Family group did you belong too?
    • Two descendants participated - see Family Group 21 of the Parker DNA Project. John Ira Parker 1859-1960.
  • Several online trees has your James Madison Parker. Some have his father as a John Parker. I have looked at teh Parkers on the 1800-1820 census files for Baltimore MD and I believe that the John Parker and wife on them was was of the age to be James' father.
