Do You Know A 65ish William (Bill) Parker?

Hi All!I'm really tired of being the broken off branch at the base of the Parker tree. I want to be reattached!!Since I was given up for adoption at birth, and my biological father not knowing about my existence, it's been difficult trying to locate him or any family on my Parker side.Does anyone here know a William (Bill) Parker that's about 65 years old? I know I must have cousins and even 1/2 brothers and sisters out there somewhere. I'd like to find them.If you know any William or Bill Parkers about 65 years old, could you please direct him or any of his relatives to this website?THANKS!!!!!

    • Thanks for the information Rebecca!

Do you know if Willis was ever in Southern California, even for a brief period of time?  My father was in Buena Park, California in October 1968 living in an apartment with a male relative (believed to be his brother).

  • Mara,  have you tried the message boards on ancestry.com?  I have found many cousins & lots info on my Hatfield & Sutton family on tghere.

just got to www.ancestry.com    at top of page click on collaborate  & in the drop down click on message boards. Then, little ways down, click on letter P, then , Pa, then Par, then scroll down & look for Parker.

My grandmother was a Parker. But she was raised as a Burns, (long story) From KY-TN.

    Good luck.

    Jeanie

    • Thanks for the tip, Jeanie!  I've posted on Rootsweb.com  I'll check out Ancestry.com!

  • Hi Nancy! Thanks for the tip. I've actually checked the 1968 Buena Park city directory and he wasn't listed in it. It seems he only lived there for a couple of months.

I've been searching for over 20 years for him. I appreciate any tips I can get. :)
  • I do not talk to my uncle anymore but I am trying to find out through other family members if he lived there at all.I hope you have luck finding your father I might have my brothers ask my uncle so get back to me if the photos helped and I will gat back if I have any luck.

    • Wow, George. Thanks for posting the photos of your uncle Bill. I have forwarded them onto my birth mom to see if she recognizes him.

The Bill Parker I'm looking for lived briefly in an apartment on Knott Ave. in Buena Park, California in October of 1968. It sounds to me that the Bill you speak of is still alive? Could you please ask him if he was at that location for me? I'd appreciate it!!!!

Thanks a bunch. I really appreciate it.
