Hi all. I am new here.My wife is a descendent of William V. Adkinson through Parker V. Adkins, his son. William was married to Elizabeth Parker, daughter of Richard Parker (b. ca 1660, husb of Mitha ?) son of Richard Parker (husb of Sarah Elizabeth Bailey), son of James Parker and Katherine Buller. After considerable reasearch, we believe that among their children was Keziah Adkins, who some refer to as Keziah Mallory; however, we have not been able to document the relationship other than a gravestone referring to her by her married name (Keziah married George Fry(e)). Her gravestone is found near the farm of her her siblings Hezikiah Adkins. She had several documented business dealkings with other members of the Adkins family. We are curious as whether anyone may know or have access to primary or credible secondary sources confirming this relationship. We are preparing a non-commercial report for our children and grandchildren of their heritage. We are attempting to document all entries with primary and credible secondary sources, in all cases to include copies of supporting records in an appendix. Your help is appreciciated. All sources will be attributed in the manner requested by the source. We will be hapy to compensate you for copies etc. Thanks.Tim

    • Hey again,

I'll check my email again to see if you wrote. I don't get online like I need to or would like to but I may've missed it.

    • This is another, different Richard Parker.
      • Hey,

I found you were right, that it was/is another Richard Parker, (immigrant) 1647 to VA. My 9th ggrandfather, was married to Elizabeth BAILEY, or, Sarah Elizabeth BAILEY in abt. 1649. She was the Londoner. Write when you get time.

  • Also,I noticed the name Adkins connected with my line just last night. I'm glad to have stumbled upon this today...I'm still kind of new to genealogy so bear with me please.
    • There are a lot of Akin's buried in the Old Shiloh Baptist Cemetery in Mt. Enterprise, Texas. There are a lot of Parkers buried there also. The Parkers donated the land for the cemetery and they came to Texas from Greene County, Georgia after the Civil War around 1870.
