Am looking for anyone out there with this individual in their tree. My father was taken away from his mother and was raised in an orphanage I have hit a brick wall with this individual was he a Cherokee or was he of eastern descent?

Rhonda do you know his mother's name? I don't qiute honestly think your Stephen W. Parker is the right one I am looking for. Mary Berry os the father of Stephen W. Parker. I show my GGG Grandpa as being born in Barre, Orleans, New York, and he passed away in Cushing Oklahoma in 1924.Stephen is the father of Albert Charles Parker born 1870-Illinois, and died in 1949 in Cushing Oklahoma. Albert married Wilhemia Ahner(Parker) who was the father and mother of my Great Grandma Liliy Mae Parker she was born 1905 in Stillwater, Oklahoma and died in 1992 in Cushing Oklahoma.Hope this helps in yur search.......
I have a Stephen William Prker in my line born in 1828 and a death date of 1924. I am currently trying to locate his parents as of now still no luck!!! Hope this helps. Stephen William Prker was born in new york and died in Oklahoma. Both of his parents are from Maine. This is all the info I have.

Just an interesting note I to am in Corrections I have been a correctional supervisore for 19 years for the State of Colorado. Do you have any Haughn's or Lacey's that are in your Parker lIne?

We believe william was also married twice. At age 36 or 36 he married Amanda Elizabeth Hickenbottom(Graham). She was part Indian and was from Georgia(Hiwassee River area}. William Hickenbottom was her father and Elizabeth Whittier was her mother. Her father died shortly after her birth. Her mother married Ira T Graham who adopted Elizabeth and her brother William.Her mother died before 1850 and Ira T graham married Sarah ? who loved and took care of Elizabeth and William.Elizabeth and William named their first daughter Sarah Jane in honor of her. william parker was known by the nicknameof "Doc" Parker and "Uncle Billy" to everyone in the area. He and Amanda Elizabeth were married in 1857 at Benton County Arkansas.Elizabeth was known as "Betsy" to all.William was born may3, 1820-22 in North carolina and diedJuly 20, 1923 at Hiwasse, AR
