I am trying to merge two Parker lines in my family. Does anyone have information on a Henry Parker ? He had a daughter named Mahala Parker born in 1830 married to Abraham Hortman. Mahala moved to Texas after her husband died in the civil war. My other Parker line is from North Carolina and I would like to eventually find the common ancestor between the two.

I have a similar problem. Daniel Parker, b c1822 SC, last found in Gordon Co., GA is my oldest known Parker. Thru DNA testing, my DNA matches descendants of many Parkers from Gates Co., NC. So far I can not prove a link. Good luck, Mike
