Richard Stephen Parker was my gg grandfather. Family records show he was born June 1853 in England. He married Harriett Ellen Taylor 1 July 1869 in Winnamac, IN. They had two children, Lewis Eldon Parker and Charity Jane Parker. Richard and Harriett died within days of one another of consumption when their children were 8 and 10 yr. old.Does anyone have any info to share about Richard or how I should go about trying to find him in England...there are so many Richard Stephen Parkers listed in England I'm afraid it may not be easy to find his parentage.
