The Parkers from Minnesota

My maternal great grandmother was Alice Glen (Parker) Oleson. She was born in Iowa, on December 8, 1904. She married Elmer Glen Oleson on May 27, 1925. She died in 1986 and was buried in Bethany Lutheran Cemetery in Storden, MN. Growing up, my family has always said we are related to Cynthia and Quanah Parker. I would like to understand exactly where our families are connected.

Quanah Parker and Cythinia Parker

Recently, during my family history research, I made contact with an elderly cousin that I never knew I had.  It's been really good getting to know that side of the family and I am most grateful for the wonderful pics and info he has been sending me. 
Most recently the following was shared with me, and at suggestion, I am posting here for your review and comments.    Please keep in mind his is not well, thus I have left the message as is with only some minor spelling corrections.
My cousin wrote me this:
If  you grew up in Tx you heard of Cynitia Ann Parker, captured Ft Parker by Comanche.
I believe she was Malaha's cousin.  Elder  John followed same travel pattern as our Parkers Va, Ill, Tx.  Mahala's middle name was Louise, Parker named all girls ending in "a".  Lefwich Texas Land Grant started in Bedford Va,  bought out by Sterling Robertson bought by Steven Austin who settled Ft Parker.  About 1905 son of Delta Preas, Joe went to visit Quanah Parker, Ft Sill Ok
