Lucy Parker Grant, on the right, born in about 1822, said to be the daughter of an Irish immigrant and a Shawnee or Seneca woman. Married the very proper Rufus Grant of Tennessee in the 1840s and had Nicholas Biddle Grant, John Parker Grant, Silas Grant and many other children.
