1921Reunion

I found this photo on a visit to the Olde Buncombe Genealogical Society (OBGS) last summer. The picture is dated July 4th, 1921. The key that went with it was missing (of course), but I have identified the following people: 7 - Lee Garren, 9 - Ada Parker Garren, 10 - Joseph R. Parker, 15 - Martha Parker Morris, 20 - Francis Marion Parker, 21 - Louisa Jane Cook Parker, 22 - Sarah Ann Clause Rogers, 26- Jennie Parker Davis, and 29 - Rachel Murray Parker. I don't know who the rest are, feel free to identify anyone you might know.

    The property was donated to Sardis Methodist Church by Joseph Wayne Parker, one of the sons of Joseph R. Parker, for a new sanctuary. It was a farm with some acreage, and I don't know where the cabin was on the property. It is in the vicinity of the current Sardis Methodist Church, at the corner of Sardis and Brevard roads (Hwys 112 and 191), across from the now closed Biltmore Mall.
