Your husband's? dna shows a family match to FG#7, and your document trail shows Jesse Parker (d. 1849 Walker Co. TX) as an ancestor, albeit indirectly through several other surnames and female lines,. So, here are some genealogical history answers to your questions:
Yes, as a part of Family Group#7, you are related through the lineal male bloodline to the huge FG#7 Parker clan that started in Rusk County, Texas. Bonnie Parker (of Bonnie and Clyde) was included through her father Charlie Parker, son of the clan. A living lineal male descendant of that clan recently did YDNA testing through Family Tree DNA. The resulting FG#7 match answered questions about Bonnie's FG# that have been asked for years.
No, as a part of FG#7, you are not related to the FG#5 male lineal clan of Elder John Parker. That includes his granddaughter Cynthia Ann and her son Quanah. Quanah, anyway, was not a male lineal Parker by YDNA since his father was Peta Nocona. Quanah also merely adopted the Parker surname from his mother and used it until his death in 1911.
The Parker FG#5 Reunion at Fort Parker is held in the hottest part of each summer, but is widely attended by Parkers of all types. You would have a great time, and you will be welcomed by all.
Through the family line of your ancestor Ella Parker who married George Forbes, you might be interested in the Texas Ranger (One riot, One Ranger) museum in Waco. Your Forbes Ranger ancestor figured large (literally) in keeping the peace down on the Mexican border and elsewhere durng his years in that service. It is likely that he is mentioned in the Ranger museum displays. And Ella's ancestor, Jesse Parker, the FG#7 patriarch and Texas ancestor, was a patriot of the Texas Revolution from Mexico and is well recognized as such.
