I am descended from Moses Parker, born in Bedford County, Virginia about 1784, and Sarah Markham. Moses' mother was Mary Parker, born about 1750.  My Parker line comes from the Taylor's Mountain area in Thaxton, Virginia.

    • I don't know where to look but hope to get back to Bedford Courthouse when they open. I did not realize that Mary had a sister Sarah. There is ship record for a Sarah Parker but not sure if our Sarah sister to Mary. I want to look up information on Sarah. Thank you for your reply.

  • I am also a descendent of Moses Parker.  Sarah Ann Parker was my great grandmother. Her son Thomas Henry Parker as married to Margaret Overstreet, who was the daughter of Charles Overstreet and Phoebe Ann Carter. My grandmother Hester Jane Parker was the daughter of Martha and Thomas Parker.  She, Hester Jane Parker, married Thomas Jackson Bryant and they had my mother Rosie Lee Bryant/ Do you know if this picture is Phoebe Ann Carter?3284519301?profile=RESIZE_1024x1024

    • Actually it looks alot like a younger Cynthia Ann Nocona (Parker). Daughter of Silas Parker. Mother of Chief Quanah Parker.
  • I have 3 Moses Parker's in my lineage and would very much love to find out if any of my Moses's are related to your Moses.

  • Yes, I am.  I wish I could get to the Homecoming in April.  We have a tip planned to Virginia in May.  Two trips so close together would be difficult.
