  • Did not know that your husband had died, I am sorry. May have some information on Benjamin Parker. You may already have this information. Found Deed Records for William S Little, Benjamin Parker, and Nancy his wife. Also looked at Census Records for Robert Parker in Gates County, North Carolina. There are 3 Robert Parker in Gates County, North Carolina 1790 Census. The Robert Parker who did not marry, the Robert Parker who stayed in Gates County, and wrote his will in Gates County, and another Robert Parker who had 3 male children listed in the 1790 Census who might be Jesse and Benjamin Parker. Also researched Nails Creek, Georgia where my Jesse lived and it is very close to South Carolina. There is a Robert Parker in the land record for Franklin County, Georgia who has land very close to South Carolina at the right time. I will give more information later. Also Isaac Parker who married Mary Noland in Amite County, Mississippi 1815, Isaac Parker FG7, had Nowland around him in Census. Nowland were also around our Parker and Anderson in the Census. And there were Calcote in Amite County, Mississippi at the right time. Isaiah Parker married Dicy Ann Calcote. Will have to piece this together for you. I'm excited, still searching Isaac Parker born 1794 who married Mary Noland. Is my theory of Isaac Parker, father of Isaac Parker who married Mary Noland, may be very closely related to Jesse and Benjamin Parker.
  • I do not know a male Parker descendant (but I can try searching for one) I am descended from Benjamin Parker's son, Anderson Parker, b. 1808. His wife's name was Nancy Melinda Mabry, she was the widow of Martin P. Coons when she married Anderson. Their son, Peyton Graves Parker (1840-1919) was my brick wall for the longest, as he was incorrectly listed in 1850 as Peter G., and not Peyton G. Peyton was my great great grandfather. I am trying to figure out who the parents of Benjamin Parker (1771) were. I only see it on Wayne's site as P11. Not sure how to navigate all this!

    • Hello Barbara....to clarify, Benjamin SR born ca.1770 is believed to be the oldest known male member of his particular bloodline in Family Tree dna family group #7. Benjamin SR did of course have parents, But they remain unknown to family historians. Benjamin Sr had a son Anderson who married the widow Coons as you explain in your post. Another son of Benjamin Sr was Isaiah whose documented male descendants lead to Jack PARKER who is my= husband and possibly the last living male known in this bloodline. husband Jack has been FTDNA y tested as P11 and mAtched into Family Group #7.

      Hope this helps in your research.

    • Patricia, thanks for that explanation. I had sort of figured it out. When you say your husband is possibly the last living male known in this bloodline, are you referring to the bloodline of Benjamin, or of Isaiah? I do show that there are at least 4 living male descendants of Anderson Parker. At least one of them has done the ancestry.com dna, and I have a match to him, but have been unsuccessful in getting in touch with him.

    Hello, Heather Bearb:

    My husband Jack Parker is a lineal male descend of Isaiah Parker and wife Dicey Calcote;

    son Josiah Parker b. May 1835 Mississippi - d. after 1893 Louisiana; m1) Martha Rose, m2) Rebecca Nessmith,* m3) Amanda Taylor

    son *Joseph Gibson Parker Sr., b. 1870 Louisiana, d. 1929 Texas, m) Cecilia Ann Jackson

    son Joseph Gibson Parker Jr., b. 1903 Mississippi, d. 1962 Texas m) Ruth Vivian Clark

    and Jack Parker

    I do the research for Jack as P11 of FG#7. To my knowledge, Jack is the last living male in the line back through Joseph Gibson Sr. who himself died in 1929.

    I would like to know about your line back to Isaiah, generation by generation, if available with as much info as you have.. Please contact me here at this interest group site or email me at jandpparker@msn.com. Do you have a copy of Jane Parker McManus' book PIONEERS WEST OF APPALACHIA? i

    Welcome to this interest group site. Patricia Ross Parker
