Wilson Ashley Parker - my 2nd Great Grandfather born about 1834 in Red Level, Butler Co. Alabama and died 862 in Tyler Texas, his son. James Malachi Parker-my Great Grandfather born Jan. 31, 1860 in  Moscow, Polk Co. Texas died April 14, 1940 in Houston, Harris Texas. His son Burl Hamilton Parker- my Grandfather born Aug. 26, 1885 in Leggett, Polk Co. Texas died Oct. 11, 1953 in Houston Texas. His son Iris Dick Parker known as ( I.D. Parker )- my Father born Jan. 4, 1919 in Ceneter, Shelby Co. Texas died Oct 14, 1999 in Houston, Harris Co.  Texas

    My great grandfather is Philip, his brother. I can trace the line through John and Sarah Gordy Parker and his father, George. If you need this information let me know.

    Ashley PARKER, born 1834 AL, Conecuh Co AL 1850 Census, page 763 or 383, 2 numbering systems. Is this your guy. Father Samuel PARKER, mother Rachael. Siblings of Ashley PARKER are Noah, Peter, Willis, Phillip, Samuel, Thomas, James.

        Do you have access to the book, Ima Zylks Adcox book The Descendants of John Parker 1740 and his Wife Sarah Gordy. 1989, Gateway Press, Baltimore, MD. This is our family. It is out of print, but from John down is mostly correct. All the info detailing John Parker's parents for the most part is not correct. If you cannot find the book, send me your email address and I will send you the info, including who John's parents are.
