Thank you for the update and here is a little info, you may already know this but going to post anyway. You cannot buy or sell land and also be a witness, hence if you see the same name on the witnessing of land or buying or selling they are 2 different people with the same name. Also I think a witness to a probate record will not be in the probate record itself. and how do you search in this data base.
