Hi Wendy,

It looks like you are my DNA cousin. I added your information to my file this morning. Your Parker family is part of the Parker DNA Project as FG#7.

I tried to add a file with information about you family from my research but it seem the smallest file that I want to post is still to big to post on PH.

This is my e-mail address  if you want more iformation   waynenparker@yahoo.com

  • Exciting! Let me do some research on my end and compare.
    • From FamilySearch.org. Tilford Allen Jeter married Emma Parker. Children: Bernice, Jewell Bertha, Leslie Leroy, Emma Jane. Tilford Jeter in 1900 Census. They did not find him or Emma in either the 1910, 1920 or 1930 Census. He shows up in 1940 Census. Also they have Giles Parker marrying Martha Ann Haig and their daughter is Emma Elizabeth Parker born 1888 and marrying Isaac Wilson Harris. Emma Elizabeth Parker died in 1981. Your Emma Admonia Parker was born 1887 and died 1929. Not sure how accurate is alll this information.
      • Thank you Steven. I will update my file and see if I can add more information. Wayne
        • Steven, I have checked the census records and Find A Grave and verified your information. Thank You! Wayne

    • Wendy,

I rechecked my research and I have not been able to find any information that prove that your Emma Edmonia Parker is the same as Emma E.Parker the daughter of Giles and Martha A.Parker of FG#7. I will wait and see if you have found any information before I remove Giles and Martha A. Parker as the parents of your Emma Edmonia Parker and go back to the drawing board.

      Wayne
      • Hi Wayne! I did some research and I have confirmed my ggrandfather is Lewis N Parker. I have tied my ggrandfather Lewis through DNA match to John C Parker my 2nd cousin 2x removed. His father is Joseph Marion Parker and I believe (still working on) that John Cryer Parker is the father to Joseph Marion Parker. Do you have any information regarding this line of Parkers?
        • CORRECTION: confirmed my 2nd ggrandfather is Lewis N Parker
          • Wendy,
Since I have a large Parker data base in my computer, I have several different people with the same names that you are looking for. Could you please provide dates, places and census records? Also it would really help if you could provide an outline for your Parker family listing from Emma Edmonia Parker back to her parents and her grandparents and on back till you hit the brick wall, listing census, wills and any other information that will help in showing a good paper trail that I and other researchers can use. Wayne
