Hulda Parker Allen

I am looking for any information on a Hulda Parker born in 1791 in Burnsville, Anson County N.C that married Benjamin Allen.  She left N.C. around 1839 to Enoch, Alabama.  Two of their children and their families moved with them (Richmond & Wiley Allen).  Richmond married a Sarah Allen and moved his family to Cromwell and started a small general merchandising store.  Wiley married Elvira Tims and moved to Cyril, Alabama in Choctaw County.  I am kin to Hulda and looking for information about her brothers and sisters. Thanks for any help!

  • I'm kin to Hulda and Benjamin Allen, too! They are buried in the same cemetery - The Shearon Cemetery - near Choctaw, AL. My great uncle, who died as an infant is also buried there. My grandfather was born after him. I believe Roland Lester Allen was the first born. My grandfather's name was George Woodrow Allen, son of Henry Hood Allen who is the son of Benjamin J allen, who is the son of Enoch Allen, who is the son of Benjamin and Hulda Parker Allen. So, we're cousins if you're related to Hulda Parker Allen! I have lots of info. Just need to dig it up!
    • Melissa, Thank you for responding. Hulda had two sisters Mary Polly B- 1786 D - ?? and Susannah B-1794 D-1850 ( she is kin to Elvis) two brothers William Wiley B- 1798 D- 1861 and Thomas B-1800 D-1871 (I come off of Thomas) Their Father was Nicholas Parker B-1755 D-1820 Nicholas moved to Burnsville District of Anson County NC. when he was 19 years old and purchased a lot of farming land. Big farming family. Mary Polly married David Allen any kin to Benjamin? Most of them stayed in that area or moved east across the Pee Dee River to Richmond County. I have hit a block with Nicholas the daddy can't find out who is father was. Or the last name of his wife Mary. If you have any information that will help I would appreciate it. I am in Family Group #17 connected by P309 in the Parker DNA project. Gail

That's much easier to find ancestry matches once the FTDNA Autosomal DNA and FTDNA X-DNA has been downloaded into there site. they combine yours with Ancestry.com and 23 and me sites.
