FG#7 Brick wall down!

The best way to do genealogy is to start with yourself and work back in time and the second best and harder way is to work with your older ancestors and bring their descendants forward. I use both methods in my research of Parker FG#7. I have broke down another brick wall in the Parker FG#7 MYSTERY by using both methods this week.

I have information on 3 brothers (two born after 1860 and one born 1845) that lived in LA and TX in my file for a long time but never could find out who their parents were. To this day I have not found then on the 1870 census and by 1880 they were not living with their parents and I found the one born in 1845 only on the 1910 census,

I was reviewing the e-mail from one of the researchers and saw that he had listed their mother name as Mary, a clue that somehow I had missed. I then found the Mary and her husband listed on the 1860 census but the whole family was listed by initial only and that when I found that the son who was born in 1845 went by his middle name on the 1910 census and when I found the family in the 1850, the father was listed as James A. Parker born in GA and Mary also born in GA. I then went to my file to see if I could find a James A. Parker of FG#7 that was born in GA. YES there was a James A. Parker born February 26, 1823 in GA died in 1863 in TX and his wife Mary White were in my file and had been for years. After doing so more checking I was able to confirm that the info was correct and now the family is together again.
