  • This is absolutely huge, Box people were in Nansemond County, Virginia, Franklin County, Georgia, and now Laurens County, South Carolina. A known fact also without a doubt is either Parker or people connected to the Parkers are also connected to the Donaho people who were in Laurens County, South Carolina. This a huge break through I believe. Remember Jesse Parker passport through the Indian Creek Nation states Jesse Parker a native of South Carolina. This could absolutely be huge. Thanks to one and all that have done fabulous research. More research needed.
  • I’m not sure if I missed something but, where is the connection to the Parkers?
    • Box and Parkers have migrated together or followed later. The Box/Gibson couple in my # 9 are my 5th great-grandparents. Mike
  • Steven Charles Kratz and Wayne N. Parker, Thank you both for replying to my Box family post. Family Parker #7 is blessed with dedicated researchers with skills far beyond my ability. I still pound my head on the brickwall of Daniel Parker in my line and hope to break that wall some day!!!
    • Mike,
Yes we will break down the wall sooner or later. We all are in your debt because you have keep PH up and running so we will have a place to post. I long for the "good old days" when we had a bunch of Parker family researchers posting on here but I known we still have researchers reading the posts. The research keeps me going and the best part is being able to share new information from my own research as well report the new information from the many Parker cousins that share with me.

      • In response to to good ole days when people were more active. Just a thought. I remember getting a list of new people every so often with the DNA and an assigned #. I can’t even remember my number anymore but I think it was P422, I could be wrong. I do remember being excited to see how close P401, P402 were to me. It seems that report always helped trigger me to come back online and look at new information. Also, today I received an email about the John G Parker and Bray; however, now that I am on here I see numerous other postings that I did not receive a notification of a “new posting” for. I do not know if I have something set up wrong via notifications or if I just receive all new post notifications. Anyhow, when I get an email it reminds, triggers my memory to go take a look at what’s new. I have tons of saved websites etc. that can use continued reading, analysis by me but once out of site, out of mind. So, the emails really help me find you guys all the time. I think my link in saved bookmarks doesn’t even work anymore. I guess I’m not as organized as I’d like to be with my bookmarks. I just have a ton under “family history”. Just my thoughts and I hope it helps. I know everyone is a volunteer too and we all have our plates full of stuff. Wishing for a simpler life again, Liz
      • Wayne, Perhaps only the stubborn remain!
  • Thank you very much, everyone, Mike, all Benjamin, Isaac and Jesse Parker researchers. Robert Parker as well as Laurens County, South Carolina is very big for Robert Parker, Jesse Parker as well as the Box surname. More later, Laurens County I believe border where Robert and Isaac Parker lived in South Carolina.
  • Mike,
Thanks for the Box family information. I added info to my file last week. My file keeps getting bigger and I hope more brick walls come down sooner rather that later but we will take either one with a big smile!!
