Pleasant L Parker (1810-1834)

Looking for information about a Pleasant Parker (1785-1833) who was the son of Moses Parker (1744-1830) and Nancy Sands (1746-1802) of Marlboro County, South Carolina.

Pleasant Parker died in Sampson County, North Carolina. I believe he had a son named Pleasant L Parker (1810-1834). Pleasant L Parker has a will probated in 1850 in Sampson County. In it he names two of his sons, John Wesley Parker (1830-1908) and Thomas Clifton Parker (1832-1868).

Thomas Clifton Parker was born in Johnston County, North Carolina, and died in Barbour County, Alabama. He is my 2nd great grandfather.

Any information about either of these Pleasant Parkers would greatly be appreciated. Thanks.

    Barry, Welcome to PH. I do not think our lines match to my knowledge but you can probably find plenty of info here at PH. My line also came through SC to AL after decades in GA. Look in the yDNA project for matches. Ask any questions. Mike
