I have 2 DNA matches that are direct descendants of Frank Hannibal Parker, 1871-1960, born in Orange Beach, Baldwin, Alabama, USA, died in Pensacola, FL. Most family members have no idea who his parents were, as he and his bother were raised in Pensacola, FL by someone other than his immediate family. His brother's name was Charles Colas or Cotas Parker.
One person on ancestry.com has his father as Peter Parker 1802-1898, and mother as Mary Francis Burke who died about 1873.
Does anyone have information on this Peter Parker? He would not be my great grandfather's direct connection, but might help me get a good lead on him. Thanks
Trisha

I have found no documentation one way or the other to determine if he is my great grandfather.
His father Berry F. Parker was the son of Richard Hall Parker (1801-1863)
My grandmother was Mary Ida Parker (sometimes known as Ida Mary Parker), Birth 29 Aug 1880 in Moniac, Charlton, GA; Death 20 Mar 1956 in Tallahassee, Leon, FL (but lived in Foley, Taylor County, FL at that time. She married James Edward Mixon.
She was the daughter of John Henry Parker; Birth Jan 1850 in Florida, Death 1917 (probably in Georgia). John Henry Parker first married Margaret Michal Raulerson (1854- unknown) on 15 Jan 1873. She was the daughter of Westberry Raulerson (1818-1887) and Elizabeth Canaday (1823-1905) John Henry and Margaret had two children:
Charles Wesley Parker (1878-1947) who married Maryann Roberts (B 10 Sep 1879 in Clinch, Georgia and D 17 May 1961 in Jacksonville, FL
Mary Ida Parker (my grandmother)
John Henry divorced Margaret and then married Mary M. Moore B Oct 1862 in GA and D 1910, perhaps in Lowndes County, GA. They had two children:
Mary M. Moore, B Jul 1894 in Florida, D aft 1956 in Hahira, Lowndes, Georgia, USA She married George R. Walker
John Henry Parker, Jr. B 8 Mar 1897 in Florida, D 6 Apr 1953 in NY
I know that John Henry Parker lived in Valdosta, GA in 1906, as that is mentioned in a letter from John Henry Parker, Jr to Mary Ida Parker. He also mentions their Aunt Vianna who was living in "North Georgia, Calhoon, Georgia near Chattanooga, Tennessee."
That is all I can find on my Parker relatives, other than census reports here and there. Then the DNA matches came along, so I thought I might get a clue from finding Frank Hannibal Parker's family.
