  • I suspect that mine will, though I have not had it checked yet. I am a descendant of Henry and Nancy through Perry Anderson Parker, L.V. Parker, and Lynn Victor Parker (my dad).
  • Hello, Tracie Lynn Kent Fultz: Glad to see you are still interested in Parker genealogy. As you seek answers to your latest question, the following may be helpful::

The R1a1 haplo YDNA results of P17, P20 and P31 were submitted from living Parker males and included in the Parker Heritage system that was in operation then. The results were matched into Parker YDNA Project Family Group #1 because they had marker values similar to other available test results there.

Those living Parker tested males claimed either Henry Parker Sr. (b. 1780, m. Rachel Unknown). or his son Henry Parker Jr. (b. 1827, m. Nancy Black) as oldest known ancestors.

No YDNA material is available for testing from either Henry Sr. or Henry Jr. Their positions as oldest known ancestors are based only descemdant claims and supported by the assumptions of YDNA inheritances in genetic processes.

YDNA results inform only on males. Despite their important family roles, Rachel Unknown (m. Henry Parker Sr.) and Nancy Black (m. Henry Parker Jr.) are not included at all in YDNA results.. We can effectively rely only on family lore for female histories.

If you wish to e-meet other Parker descendants in Family Group #1, suggest you see Groups link above on the PH header. Consider joining the Group #1 interest group you will find listed there. Interest groups are free, and you can join one or more.

Good luck in your research.. Keep us posted here at Parker Heritage website.
