  • Mary Jane Parker was married to Jesse Kendrick. The text of her newspaper obituary is available at findagrave.com. The obituary specifically mentions Elder John as her father. Mary Jane was my 4X great grandmother. I would be very interested in any research you have found about her.

  • A lead I am following is information that was on Find a Grave -Memorial # 10841436
    on Mahala J. McGary
    "Jana occupation shows to be that of an missionay in the 1930 Census. She reported that our ancestors fought at Goliad and the Alamo,help to write the Delaration of Texas Independence. Her father was a confederate soldier,her uncles were rangers on the front fighting the Indians. Her father's cousin was the mother of Chief Quanah Parker --Cynthia Ann."
    Her mother name was Keziah McCalister-James Her Father name was Robt.McCalister
  • My research has Mary Parker's husband as Jesse Kendrick b 1785. They had 13 children. She died in 1846 and is buried in Jeffersontown, Shelby, Kentucky.
