Jesse Parker and Coshea Parker are listed on Cherokee CountyTexas Census /1850, also in Coshea' s will 1859 leaves headriight lands to her children. I have been unable to find Daniel Reynolds headright, but I do see that Daniel Parker obtained headright lands two and one half miles SE of Elkhart, Anderson, County Texas. Has anyone been able to connect these two Parker families?

Could you share the names of the people burried at Fort Parker, who you think are your ancestors. Try to include as much infomation as you can about how they are kin to you as this will help us help you with your research. Are they you direct ancestors?

I have quite a bit of information in my file on this Jesse and Coshea Parker.
As far as I know this Daniel Parker is a member of DNA FG#5 . As far as I know no male Parker member of Jesse and Coshea Parker has had their y-DNA tested. I have not seen a proven paper trail that connect Jesse Parker to Daniel Parker either, although there are some trees on the Internet.
I am kin to some members of Jesse and Coshea Parker family on my mother side of my family. I grew up in MS with members of their son William Wiley Parker descendants. Jesse Parker lived in old Choctaw Co., MS in 1840 census and left there in the late 1840's. Both Parker family clamined kin on their Parker side of the family but after many years of research I have found no paper trail to back that up. I have been trying to get members of W.W. Parker to do an DNA test for many years now but no luck yet.
I have been hopping that you could find a male from Jesse family to do an DNA test.
