.He was Pleasant Beach yet changed name to B.Frank Cannady because Indians were not allowed to marry White's.Thank you because you jarred my mind...lol..sorry I've been doing so many researches of family tree.
My dad grandmother Mary Morris m.William T Bell.He died during the civil war.His widow remarried a Clark. Wish I could find out your Parker Indian.Who to say the way families married cousins he might be the one.
  • Hi Carol,
So far we have not been able to 'prove' we are Cherokee. I do know that our DNA shows Native American and Europea. I have a cousin that had DNA testing done. I believe we have indian from both the Helton and Parker side of our family. I have a family tree on Ancestry.com and plan to do DNA testing soon.
  • Hi Donna ,my name is Carol Bell Chambers. My dad Edward Bell mother was Emma Amanda (Parker)daughter of William H Parker who is a brother to Nathanil Hampton Parker.Iwas always told about having indian blood yet I thought it was from my Bell side of family.
