Through Ancestry.com my DNA has confirmed my ancestry to Rev John Parker II and his wife, Rachel Ivy Sessums through their daughter, Lurany Parker Clark. Lurany married Gregory Clark, son of Charles and Betsy Clark who had been born in Ireland. Lurany and Gregory had many children, and I descend from their daughter Clarissa who married Michael See (Seay) in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Their family moved to TN and then on to Itawamba County Mississippi. Their son, John Joseph See married Evalina Eglantine Lorrance (dau of Hiram Lorance) in Mississippi. After Michael's death, Clarissa Parker Clark and her children moved on the Carroll County Arkansas and stayed their through the Civil War. While my gg g grandmother, Eggie Lorance See moved on to Tyler Texas with many of her children, but her son, my gg grandfather Joseph See stayed in Carroll County AR. His wife was Leann Margaret Morris, daughter of the Irish William C Morris and Eliza Maxwell. Their daughter, Delina Odelll See, was my great grandmother. Della See married James Polk Smith and they raised their family there in Carroll County AR.
