About Ira Francis Parker b. 1827 Mississippi, his mother Temperance Brewer died when Ira was young. The father of Ira, William Parker, left the boy with the Brewer grandparents, Henry and Susan and went away to parts unknown. On the 1830 Hinds Co. MS census, the Henry Brewer family had a boy under five in their home who could have been Ira Francis Parker. They and several of their adult Brewer chlldren nearby were enumerated on page 205. Our FG#7 Benjamin Parker and his extended family lived in Hinds in 1830 and were enumerated there onpage 213. I did not locate the Brewers in 1840.
The Brewers were in Nacogdoches on the 1850 census with their children (siblings of the deceased Temperance) and others, and Ira Francis Parker who had been raised by them. The 1850 Nacogdoches census lists the grandparents as Brown which was a transcription error. The original page clearly says Brewer.
I cannot tell you anything about the father William Parker, but Ira married and lived in Texas. Patricia Ross Parker, FG#7 researcher.

I would be happy to give you everything I have and fill in any gaps I can. Thanks for what you have. If you need to email me directly, it is peter@greenjobs.com
Lincoln, thank you for this information but these names are not ones I am at all familiar with at this time. But, as you know many Parkers were well traveled. It is very interesting to be in a DNA group and know the family history is kept alive. I look forward to learning about more cuzs in the future.
Wow..90,000...that is alot of information! Yes, there was a very big age difference in my g.grandmother Annie Payne, and James Jasper. From what stories I have heard, he was very jealous of Annie. The James Parker born 1916 was my grandpa. He passed away March 28, 2003. I am very interested in any info you may have, and thank you so much for your help...maybe I will eventually find out where our Parkers originated from.
Hi Lincoln, yes this my g.grandfather Jasper, and thank you so much for the info. Some of it I had, but some I did not. He was married at least two times, that my mother knows of, Annie Parker was my g. grandmother, her maiden name would have been either, Payne or Taylor, and her mothers name was Mary. I am still having problems locating his parents. In one of the census records Creasie is listed as his child and in one she is listed as his mother, but cannot find any info on a Creasy Parker in GA.
That is all the correct info I have. Where did you find this? I would love to be able to document this.

Hello, Lincoln McMillen,
Welcome to Parker Project Family Group #7. And many thanks for the effort you put into getting your Parker cousin tested and analyzed. Because your Parker relatives are so numerous and wide spread, researchers now of all stripes may find genealogy more accurate because of this #7 YDNA match. Thanks again.
