  • Hi Kelly, Can you help me with explaining how to figure out with the Autosomal DNA results to figure out which Parker line I probably belong to? My father was a direct line Parker so i'm hoping if I can figure out which group that is, I might be able to go further than the records of actual pedigree stuff. I took my dna through AncestryDNA so I have the raw data results. How did you use the information to locate which group you came from?  Thanks in advance

  • Hi kelly.i'm researching twin boys. Cleo and Leo Parker born in 1920's in or around Fannin County Texas.Parents were Clarence C.Parker and Verna Jones. One of the twin boys Cleo was my dad. Aaron Asa. Parker was my great grandpa.do you know these people. Appreciate any help.thanks.

  • William and Sarah Parker arrived in Copiah County, Ms. ca 1835-1840.  All indications are they were in St. Helena Parish, La. previously, with 2 children born in Kentucky, and 1 born in Alabama according to census records.  I would love to here from anyone who has information on this line.

  • I found where Hubbard got into trouble in North Carolina, his dad Gabriel and his brother posted a large bond. They left there and is said to have went to Screven county Georgia where other family members were located. In 1791 he located next to his brother Gabriel Parker and in 1797 he paid land taxes in Montgomery County Georgia. His oldest son Lewis Parker also paid taxes in the same county, which would indicate that he was at least 21 years of age. In 1809 Hubbard Parker and family and Lewis Parker, wife and two children obtained a Georgia Passport through Creek Indian lands in Alabama and the lower part of Miss.

  • Ada Beth Craig, I have a book on the Parkers that are here in south ms. I live in Lumberton, ms. This book is called the Parker Connection and I have five Charles Parkers in it. I am going to see what I can find out about them. What were the parents name.

  • At this time I don't have much information.  This is what I do know.  Charles Parker had a brother Cecil and they were supposedly both born on the old place there in Picyune (not sure of that spelling) in Amite Co., Ms.  Charles married Betty Ann and Charles married Gloria ( again not sure of the spelling)   Charles had three children that I know, Samuel, Mary and Tammie Sue.   So far I know nothing about Samuel and Mary.  Tammie Sue, as far as I know never married but she had a daughter Lee Anne Parker.  Lee Ann has five children.  Amy who is @ 14, Teana (not sure of the spelling) , Denise who is 10 and Carrol and Curtis both 6 - twins.

If you are not able to help me, perhaps there is someone on this site that might. I do have the twins father side of the family.     Beth

  • Kelly, I am going to try and figure out how to see the the different lines with the dna. I did a dna on my Martin side and found a lot of different Martins that were in Illinois that I never had a clue were there. Thank you for your reply.
