I'm glad you found your correct Parker ancestor! Congrats!
Hi Johnny,
To answer your first question “Do you have any idea of how (my) Samuel is related to (your) Richard? “ Not at this time, that is why I am working on trying to connect all members of FG#7 back to our common ancestor. Hope we can find the connection soon.
I am looking direct at the microfilm for my census information and I am using their number for the page numbers. I have only found two Samuel Parker listed in the 1830 AL census at this time.
I will list my Samuel Parker first. His wife died on December 09, 1822 just two days after giving birth to Samuel Parker, Jr.
1830 Fayette Co., AL census Samuel Parker page 205 2 males under 5-10 1820-1825 (Elijah 1821, Samuel, Jr. 1822) 1 male 20-30 (1800-1810) unknown by me at this time. 1 male 30-40 (Samuel Sr. 1793) 3 females 10-15 (1815-1820) Lacy 1817, Sarah 1819, Martha 1820 2 females 15-20 (1810-1815) Mary 1814, Elizabeth 1815.
This looks like your Samuel Parker 1795-1865.
1830 Fayette Co., AL page 212.
2 males under 5 (1825-1830) James C. (1822) and unknown male, 2 males 5-10 (1820-1825) Thomas (1827) and unknown male. 1 male 20-30 (1800-1810) Samuel I female 20-30 (1800-1810)
NOTE: 1840 Choctaw Co., MS census has your Samuel Parker and his wife born 1790-1800.

Hey Johnny,
I was researching you line last night "again" . I was looking at the 1830 census for Fayette Co., AL there are four Parker listed Samuel (your line) Richard (my line) Samuel (Richard brother) all three are members of FG#7, then there is a William Parker, he is living near Richard. I don't know who this could be. Just thought I would add him on the things to do list.

Sorry this posting was overlooked. How can I help you with your Parker family? I assume we are cousins, as I descend from Samuel Parker's older brother, lemuel Parker.
