Wyatt Parker descendents

Hello, I just joined the site yesterday! I'm looking for Wyatt Parker descendents. He was possibly born in Southampton, England abt 1755, came to VA as a teenager, served in the American Revolution for three years around the Williamsburg-Yorktown area then migrated to Madison County, KY where he died. His descendents all lived in Owen / Franklin County, KY.

  • hello, My name is Anita Parker Rybachek. I started tracing my fathers side last year. Wyatt is my 5x gg, Warren, Richard, Benjamin, Lloyd. My brother and i purchased copies of the two books from the kentucky Historic Library. We have gone to some grave sites and taken pictures. So far we are stuck at Wyatt. I think i may have his father and mother, just have to do more research. I would love to hear back from you!
    • Dear Anita, My name is Roy Parker and according to my DNA, I am related to Wyatt Parker also. I don't know through which of his sons. You said you bought two books from the Kentucky Historic Library. What are the names and how would I purchase my own copies?
    • Hello Cousin Anita!

My line is Wyatt, Warren, Richard, William Granville, Rose and my dad, Charles. I recently joined the DAR with Wyatt Parker as my Patriot. I have done any research on Wyatt's parents other than reading thru the information at the historical society. Jane Parker Dendy did a lot of research on this line. I was given the Warren Parker genealogy book when my Dad died.

William Granville Parker, my great grandfather, was born in Indiana but moved back to Owen Co, Ky sometime in the late 1890s, I think. He is buried in Monterey, along with his brother, Christopher, along with his daughter, Roberta. I've visited a few times.

I've looked for Warren Parkers grave a few times but haven't found it yet. It's on private property so I'll have to get permission to look around the next time I go up there.

      I live in Lexington.

      Susan Mullins
