No parents listed with Colin H CHAMPION. Dempsey PARKER occupation listed as house carpenter or carpenter. Dempsey PARKER father and mother both listed born in North Carolina according to the 1880 Census, Livingston Co KY. Another record has these PARKERs coming from Edgecombe Co NC before Livingston Co KY. Jonathan and D B PARKER in the Livingston Co KY 1840 Census, Jonathan PARKER in the 1830 and 1820 Census for Livingston Co KY. Not sure where they are in the 1810 Census Records.

      • You are welcome, your information is spot on. My PARKERs, Jesse PARKER and perhaps Robert and Benjamin PARKER were also in Livingston County, KY in the early1800's. There was also perhaps a William PARKER in Livingston County, KY also. Have you done the YDNA with a male relative, brother or father. There is quite a bit of info about Jonathan Hobson, Richard, and Joseph PARKER in North Carolina. Not sure how accurate it is but have to say the Livingston County, KY information you have seems quite accurate. Will post more if I find out some more accurate information.
  • Hello Yolanda Tapp,
Thank you for adding all the great information about your Parker family. Now we have something to work with and yes I can read what you posted. :) We who volunteer our research time and knowledge to help other researchers find their roots need to be able to go right to your brick wall to be able to help. If I look at a post that doesn't contain enough information even to let me get started I pass that post up and go to the next one.
