I see that many of you are discussing your DNA results. Is there a way to link the one that I did through ancestory DNA on here?

I'm trying to connect with a Michael Parker, mid to late 50's, maybe early 60's. Worked in the Texas oil industry in the 80's.

There is a way to look up connections if you download your raw DNA to a free website gedmatch.com. Anyone here know anything about that? Once you do that you can compare your DNA with others on The forum who are willing to share their gedmatch numbers.

Not your Michael Parker. The Parker y DNA project is based on the male y of the XY genetic pattern of males. We get our father,s Y. Women are XX. Mitochondrial DNA can be used to look for females you are related to. We have no mDNA project yet. Mike owner/moderator
